Your order always ships free.

How long does it take for my items to ship?

Everything ships out within one business day, and on the same business day for orders received by 10AM ET. Tracking links are sent to you by email with packages typically arriving in 2-4 days.

What is Shipping Protection?

Shipping Protection is our guarantee that everything you ordered will arrive and in perfect condition. Shipping Protection ensures that you're covered if your package is lost, damaged, or stolen. We cover all costs for replacing anything damaged or missing.

How do I track my order?

If you created an account when you placed your order simply log in and visit My Orders. If you checked out as a guest search your email for "Barbell Standard out for delivery" and follow the link. Or you can just get in touch and we'll be happy to give you an update.

How heavy are the packages?

The heaviest single package in your order will be 50 pounds, no matter how much weight you order.

What happens if part of my order doesn't arrive on time?

If you received most of your order but a package is missing, be sure to check your tracking information to see if there is an expected delivery date for the delayed package. Most of the time the missing package/s will arrive the next day. Get in touch with us if that doesn't solve it and we'll get a reshipment/replacement out in the mail.

Is shipping still free for large orders?

Orders over 900 pounds still ship free, and will arrive on a scheduled dedicated truck with a lift-gate for a smooth and reliable delivery.

Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?

Unfortunately, at the moment, we do not currently ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

What are 30 Day Hassle-Free Returns?

Let us know within 30 days of receiving your item if you are unsatisfied with the quality of our products for any reason, and your free replacement or 100% cash back refund will be processed at absolutely no cost to you.

Retain all original packaging and contact us as soon as possible so we can initiate your return right away.

Can I return my order for any reason?

You can return your unused equipment in original packaging for any reason within 30 days of receiving your item. Returns due to dissatisfaction with product quality will receive a full 100% refund, and orders returned for any other reason will receive a full refund minus the actual return shipping costs, with no additional restocking or handling fees, within 24 hours of the equipment being received by our warehouse.

How do I start a return?

  1. Get in touch with your order number and let us know what you'd like to do
  2. We'll send you a prepaid shipping label for you to print and return
  3. We confirm that your returned item/s have been received by the carrier
  4. We issue your return/refund/exchange

How soon do I receive the refund/exchange?

We issue refunds immediately upon confirmation that the returned item has been received by the carrier, but the time it takes for the funds to post to your account depends on your financial institution.

Replacements are shipped as soon as we receive confirmation that the returned item has been received by the carrier, and arrive just as fast as your original order.

Barbell Standard Hex Dumbbells come with the best tolerance guarantees in the category with all dumbbells guaranteed to be within 2% of the stated weight - this is a 50% improvement vs every other rubber dumbbell on the market. We accomplish this with the same diligent attention to detail that made our iron plates famous - hard work plus consistency equals results.

Which style of dumbbell should I buy?

Choosing between Fixed, Adjustable, and Plate-Loaded Dumbbells comes down to cost vs convenience. Fixed are most convenient and offer the best exercise experience but come at the highest cost, while Plate-Loaded Dumbbells require time to switch out the weights but can be added to your setup for a fraction of the cost. Adjustable dumbbells are in the middle on both convenience and cost.

How many three-tier racks do I need for my dumbbell set?

Our three-tier rack is designed to fit the 5-50 set. 5-75 or 5-100 sets will need a second rack (with the heaviest pair on the floor for the 5-100 sets).

We also offer dumbbell racks that hold five pairs.

Why is there a bit of oil on my dumbbells?

There may be a thin layer of oil coating your dumbbells out of the package, which can be easily wiped away with a dry or damp cloth.

What are the dumbbell and handle dimensions?

The 5-35 lb dumbbell handles are 5.15" and the heavier dumbbells handles are 5.65" long. The 5-15 lb dummbells handles are 27mm diameter, and the heavier dumbbell handles are 33mm diameter (at the thickest point).

    DB Rack Review

    This DB rack turned out perfect for what I needed. The price is reasonable, it looks great, doesn’t look cheap and its sturdy. The packaging was pretty messed up when it got here and I was worried there would be scratches or missing pieces. There were couple scuff marks but nothing major and all the hardware was there. The assembly was super easy. You can easily modify it to fit the DB’s you have. I love it and will be getting a 2nd one soon after I get 55+ DB’s.

    Solid Rack arrived Damaged

    The dumbbell storage rack is a solid rack, and can easily hold my dumbbell set of 3 - 50 lbs. There is minimal bow as it holds my weights, and is easy to assembly. The rack arrived with some minor cosmetic damage and Barbell Standard did provide a store credit to make things right. I did have to buy some rust-oleum to cover up the damage.

    4 stars for the solid storage rack that arrived damaged, with customer service that tried to make things right.

    Excellent Set!

    Ordered a complete 5-100 lb dumbbell set with racks. Nice quality with the barbell standard logo printed on the dumbbells. Had a couple of hiccups with shipping but customer service took care of the issues. Would highly recommend!
