General Questions

Can I add or remove items from my order?

You can always add items to your order. The item/s will ship separately if the rest of your order has already been processed.

If you need to remove anything from your order please email us at hello@barbellstandard.com, or just reply to your order confirmation email. We will be happy to cancel anything that hasn't already been shipped.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders that have not been processed can be cancelled, but we can't guarantee that a processed order can be cancelled if the delivery is too far along.

When are orders processed?

We offer same-day processing and shipping for order placed on a business day before 10am ET. Otherwise your order will be processed and ship out on the next business day.

Exceptions may occur for orders placed over a Federal Holiday weekend.

Can I apply a discount code after the order is placed?

Of course! Send us an email, either as a reply to your order confirmation email or to hello@barbellstandard.com with your order number. Provide the discount code that you forgot to use and we'll process the discount as a refund to your original payment method.

I don't see an order confirmation email, what happened?

If you don't see an order confirmation email in your inbox, be sure to check your spam folder and wait a minute or two. If you still don't see a confirmation email then it almost certainly means that the order didn't go through.

How can I make a suggestion about your products or website?

Your suggestions are always welcome by email at suggestions@barbellstandard.com. We're always ready to hear your ideas, in fact many of your suggestions have been put in place over the years.

Do you offer any Military and First-Responder discounts?

We are proud to offer a 5% discount on all orders for Active Duty, Veterans, Fire, Law Enforcement, and Emergency Responders. Email us at hello@barbellstandard.com to receive your discount code, or simply complete your order today and we will refund the 5% discount back to your original payment method.

What are your customer service hours?

Our email customer support team is based in ET timezone and we start responding to your emails at 6am. New requests received after 2pm ET will receive a response in the morning on the next business day.

Phone lines are open from 9AM to 4PM ET M-F at 888 979 0382. You can text message us any time to 484 291 5798 and one of the team will respond usually within 1-2 hours.

Shipping Questions

How much does shipping cost?

All orders ship free, and include free shipping protection to ensure that your entire order arrives in perfect condition.

When will my order ship, and when will it arrive?

Most orders arrive within three days.

Orders are processed and shipped from one of our warehouses on the next business day after your order is placed. Orders received before 10am ET are processed and shipped on the same business day.

Over 90% of our shipments arrive within two days after leaving our warehouse, including Saturdays and most holidays.

Examples:

  • Order Wednesday at 9AM ET, ships out the same day and arrives on Friday
  • Order Wednesday night, ships out Thursday and arrives on Saturday
  • Order Friday to Sunday night, ships out on Monday and arrives on Wednesday

Do you offer shipping outside of the US?

Shipping is only available within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.

Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?

Most of our products, including our weight plates and barbells, are eligible for shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.

Some products, like the Weight Tree, Floor Tiles, and Trap Bar, are currently only shipped to the lower 48.

Does your California warehouse offer discounts for pickup?

Save 15% on your order when you pick up your order at our California warehouse outside of Irving near the 241. Complete your order online and we'll refund 10% after you pick up your order, or send us an email for a discounted order form.

One of my items was damaged in shipping, what do I do?

With our Shipping Protection you are guaranteed to receive your items in perfect, pristine condition. If damage does occur during transit just send us an email reply to any of your order update emails along with a picture of the damaged product and packaging. We will offer a couple of resolution options including store credit, partial refunds, or even reshipping you a brand new item.

Why did I only receive a part of my order?

There are times that our delivery partners are unable to deliver all packages at the same time, even when we send everything out of the warehouse together. You can check the status of all packages in your order by viewing the tracking link in your order details.

On the delivery partner's website you can scroll down to view the other packages that may be connected to the single tracking number that you received.

You can always email us at hello@barbellstandard.com with your order number, or you can simply reply to any of the emails we've sent you about the order.

How do I check the status of my order?

You can check the status of your order any time by clicking the link in your order confirmation email.

We'll also send you separate email updates with tracking numbers and shipping status.

Returns Questions

What is your Return policy?

We offer full refunds and exchanges of any unused item in the condition it was received within 30 days of delivery. Items returned/exchanged due to any type of quality issue are completely free - no return shipping, no handling fees, just 100% refund or full exchange. We'll even schedule our delivery partner to pickup your item for return.

Please retain the original packaging, or if you don't have it then we can send your replacement item and you can use that box for the return.

Initiate a refund by replying to your order confirmation or order delivery email. Simply tell us the items you'd like to return, the reason for the return, and whether you'd like a refund or an exchange.

Items returned/exchanged due to a change of mind or circumstances are subject to a 20-25% return shipping and handling fee. We print and pay for the return shipping labels and you just have to repackage and drop the item in the mail. Once we get it back we'll process your refund/replacement minus return shipping fees.

How can I start a return?

Give us a call at 888 979 0382, send an email with your order number to hello@barbellstandard.com, or just reply to one of your order update emails. We will reply within one business day with your refund/replacement options and pre-paid printable shipping labels for the return.

How much does a return cost me?

Returns due to product quality issues are 100% free, no shipping, no fees - free.

Returns due to a change of mind or circumstance are subject to a 20-25% return shipping and restocking fee. We pay the cost of return shipping up front and your refund is issued minus these fees.

How long until I receive a refund for a returned order?

We issue refunds immediately upon receipt of your returned item. The time it takes for the funds to post to your account depends on your financial institution. Replacements items are shipped out the day after we receive the returned item.

Can I be reimbursed if I buy something that goes on sale later?

Absolutely!

We all know the feeling of pulling the trigger on a big purchase only to later see a sale price lower than we paid. That's why we offer reimbursements if anything you purchase goes on sale for a lower price within 30 days. Just send us an email with your order number and the item you purchased and we'll reimburse you with store credit for the difference between what you paid and the new lower sale price.

Do you offer price matching?

We will match any prices on the internet that offer the same quality product and satisfaction guarantees. But finding a better value in home fitness is tough if not impossible.

Many companies offer lower prices, until you get to checkout and see the huge shipping fees. Other companies offer a lower quality alternative that aren't back by our leading guarantees. Others may offer returns, but charge up to 50% of the purchase price in return shipping and restocking fees. We constantly scour the internet to ensure that our value proposition can't be beat - but if you find something that we missed we'll be happy to match the any deal that you find!

Are the products I want to buy in stock?

Products that are out of stock will be clearly labelled on the website before you order. We are consistently at full product availability on our core product lines, but if you ever have doubts you can always give us a call at 888 979 0382 or shoot an email to hello@barbellstandard.com.

Where do you manufacture your products?

Just like the other big USA owned and operated fitness companies, we manufacture our products wherever we can create the best possible products with the best possible prices for our customers. In some cases this is right here in the US, for others that means Mexico, and for the majority of products that means China.

All of our products are designed and engineered here in the USA by Americans that are committed to our mission of making home fitness accessible to everyone in America. Once a product is ready for production we begin the process of testing multiple factories to identify who is both capable and committed to delivering the exacting standards that we require.

We are continuously visiting factories around the world to identify manufacturers with the combination of consistent high quality and prices that allow us to continue to earn our reputation as the best value in home fitness.

What are the warranties for weight plates?

All weight plates have a Limited Lifetime warranty against breakage with an additional 1 year warranty against manufacture defects in material, functionality and workmanship.

What are your warranties for Barbells and Specialty Bars?

We warranty our bars from defects in material, functionality and workmanship for a period of up to 15 years from the date of product purchase. Read more details on our warranties page.
