Barbell Standard Warranty Coverage

Iron weight plates: Lifetime warranty for home use. 10-year warranty for commercial use.

Covered:

• Cracks or fractures in the casting
• Casting voids that break the surface
• A center hole outside the 52mm spec
• A plate outside the 2% weight tolerance
• Powder coat that peels, flakes or blisters away from the iron

Not covered:

• Surface rust
• Scuffs and chips from plate-on-plate contact
• Damage from dropping

Bumper plates: 3-year warranty on the 25lb and 45lb plates. 6 month warranty on the 10lb plates. Home and commercial use are both covered.

Covered:

• The rubber separating from the steel insert
• The insert loosening or spinning in the disc
• Cracks or splits through the rubber

Not covered:

• Surface scuffing and marking around the collar opening
• Flat spots from long-term storage under load

Loading iron plates alongside bumper plates voids this warranty. The smaller diameter of an iron plate means the bumper absorbs the full impact.

Barbell Standard 2000 Powerlifting Barbell: 15-year warranty against bends and breaks. 900lb max dynamic load.

Barbell Standard 1500 Olympic Barbell: 10-year warranty against bends and breaks. 720lb max dynamic load.

Barbell Standard 1000 Compact Barbell: 5-year warranty against bends and breaks. 630lb max dynamic load.

Covered:

• A permanent bend
• A fracture in the shaft or a sleeve
• A sleeve separating from the shaft
• Knurl lifting away from the bar

Not covered:

• A bar loaded past its stated max dynamic load
• Finish wear, rust and discoloration on the shaft or sleeves

A bar counts as bent if visible deflection remains when the bar is unloaded and rolled on a flat surface. Each bar has a weight capacity listed under Technical Specifications on its product page.

EZ Curl Bar, Olympic Hex Bar, Hex Bar 2.0, Swiss Multigrip Barbell, and Loadable Dumbbell Bars: 10-year warranty each.

Covered:

• A permanent bend
• A fracture in the shaft, a handle, or a sleeve
• A sleeve separating from the frame
• Weld failure at the handles, the frame, or the sleeves
• Knurl lifting away from the bar

Not covered:

• A bar loaded past its stated weight capacity
• Finish wear, rust and discoloration on the bar or sleeves

Bronze bushings and sealed needle bearings: 5-year warranty against defects in material, functionality and workmanship.

Covered:

• A sleeve that seizes
• A sleeve that will not spin
• Excessive side-to-side play in the sleeve

Not covered:

• Slower spin from chalk, dirt or missing lubrication
• Corrosion inside the sleeve

This covers the rotating components only. The bar itself carries the term listed above.

Rubber Hex Dumbbells: Lifetime warranty for home use. 1-year warranty for commercial gym use.

Covered:

• A head loosening or separating from the handle
• The handle weld failing
• The rubber cracking or splitting

Not covered:

• Rubber odor and color fading
• Floor marking
• Scuffs on the rubber faces

Three-Tier Dumbbell Rack: Lifetime warranty against weld and structural defects. Rated load of 1,200lb.

Covered:

• Cracked welds
• A frame that bends or cracks under its rated load
• Tube deformation

Not covered:

• Powder coat scratches and rust
• Hardware that works loose over time

Weight Tree: 10-year warranty.

Covered:

• Cracked welds
• A bent post
• A cracked base

Not covered:

• Movement on an uneven floor
• Wobble that goes away when the hardware is fully tightened

Competition Flat Weight Bench: 10-year warranty. Rated load of 1,000+lb.

Covered:

• Frame weld failure
• The pad separating from the board
• Foam that collapses under its rated load

Not covered:

• Vinyl scuffing and tearing from abrasion
• Discoloration from sweat

Weightlifting Drop Pad Set: 2-year warranty.

• Covered: seam separation, and foam that will not recover its shape
• Not covered: surface tearing and abrasion

Plyo Box Foam 3-in-1 Jump Box: 2-year warranty.

• Covered: stitching failure, and foam collapse
• Not covered: cover abrasion and compression marks

Magnetic Barbell Collars: 2-year warranty.

• Covered: magnet failure, and a cracked housing
• Not covered: coating wear

Interlocking Foam Gym Mats: 1-year warranty.

• Covered: delamination, and interlock tabs that break under normal fitting
• Not covered: indentations from equipment left in place

Strength Resistance Bands: 1-year warranty.

• Covered: tearing at a seam or a handle attachment
• Not covered: snapping from overstretch, nicks, and sun damage

Barbell Pad: 1-year warranty.

• Covered: foam collapse, and a cover splitting at the seam
• Not covered: hook-and-loop wear

Aluminum Bar Collars: 1-year warranty.

• Covered: lever failure, and threaded insert failure
• Not covered: anodizing wear

Olympic Snap Collars: 1-year warranty.

• Covered: a cracked body, and loss of clamping tension
• Not covered: finish wear

Olympic Spring Collars: 1-year warranty.

• Covered: a fractured spring, and loss of clamping tension
• Not covered: finish wear

• These warranties cover the original purchaser only, for as long as you own the product, and cannot be transferred.
• Where a product carries a lifetime warranty, that coverage ends when the product becomes unusable for a reason other than a defect in material or workmanship.
• Normal wear is not a defect. Chalk marks, scuffs from plate contact, knurl polishing and finish dulling all come from using the equipment.
• Surface rust is not covered. Iron and steel rust in humid rooms. Wipe equipment down after use and keep a light coat of oil on bare steel.
• We do not cover damage from negligent use, storage, handling or maintenance. Abusive dropping of a bar, such as repeated dropping onto concrete, is the common example. We review every claim individually.
• A product that has been modified, altered or repaired by anyone other than us is no longer covered.
• We cannot guarantee that our equipment works with equipment made by other companies, and damage caused by that combination is not covered. Send us the measurements before you buy and we will tell you what we know.
• Unless a product says otherwise above, these terms assume home use. Email us before buying for a commercial facility and we will tell you what we cover.
