How heavy are the packages?

The heaviest single package in your order will be 50 pounds, no matter how much weight you order.

What happens if part of my order doesn't arrive on time?

If you received most of your order but a package is missing, be sure to check your tracking information to see if there is an expected delivery date for the delayed package. Most of the time the missing package/s will arrive the next day. Get in touch with us if that doesn't solve it and we'll get a reshipment/replacement out in the mail.

Is shipping still free for large orders?

Orders over 900 pounds still ship free, and will arrive on a scheduled dedicated truck with a lift-gate for a smooth and reliable delivery.

Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?

Weight plates and most bars ship free to Alaska and Hawaii, and shipping charges are shown at checkout for other products.

Let us know within 30 days of receiving your item if you are unsatisfied with the quality of our products for any reason, and your free replacement or 100% cash back refund will be processed at absolutely no cost to you.

Retain all original packaging and contact us as soon as possible so we can initiate your return right away.

Can I return my order for any reason?

You can return your unused equipment in original packaging for any reason within 30 days of receiving your item. Returns due to dissatisfaction with product quality will receive a full 100% refund, and orders returned for any other reason will receive a full refund minus the actual return shipping costs, with no additional restocking or handling fees, within 24 hours of the equipment being received by our warehouse.

Do these weights have a warranty?

Yes, your weight plates are covered by a lifetime warranty for defects in material, functionality, workmanship, and defects.

What are the Barbell Standard weight plate dimensions?

Our 45, 35, and 25 pound plates are 1.4" thick. The 10 pound plates are 7/8", the 5 pound plates are 5/8", and the 2.5's are just under 1/2" thick.

  • 45 pound plates: 1.4" thick, 17.375" diameter
  • 35 pound plates: 1.4" thick, 13.75" diameter
  • 25 pound plates: 1.4" thick, 11" diameter
  • 10 pound plates: 0.85" thick, 9.25" diameter

  • 2.5 pound plates: 0.45" thick, 6.25" diameter

Why is a tolerance guarantee important?

Iron weight plates from other companies can vary by 5% or even 10% from their stated weight. This means you could have a 45 pound weight on each side of the bar that varies by up to nine pounds!

No other company offers free replacements like we do for the rare case that one of your plates is outside of our market-leading 2% tolerance guarantee.

Why are Barbell Standard weight plates powder-coated?

We powder coat our plates to deliver a durable product that will stand up to the rigors of both home and commercial use. Powder coating can last up to 20 years and does not chip or peel like similar enamel coated plates on the market.

    An Amazing Experience Once Again

    This my second purchase from Barbell Standard, and each time the process was short, sweet, and efficient.

    I placed my order, three days later it's at my door. No muss, no fuss. I open the intelligently designed shipping containers to find the sweetest set of cast iron weights imaginable---beautiful designed, beautifully manufactured.
